Welcome to the 19th Annual Fort Worth Alliance Air Show, to be held October 11-12, 2008. Bring the family for a full-day of daring aerobatic maneuvers, static displays, children’s activities, food and more! Admission is free! Parking is $20 per vehicle, any size.
Gates open at 9:00 a.m. Aerial performances start at 9:30 a.m. and last until the late afternoon. The same show is held both days.
The Fort Worth Alliance Air Show is a non-profit event with the goal of raising funds for its primary beneficiary.

Rethinking of recovery methods will continue Sept. 30 – Oct. 2, 2008, at the Unconventional Gas International Conference & Exhibition at the Hilton Fort Worth in Fort Worth, Texas. Planned by editors of Oil & Gas Journal and an advisory board of industry experts, the event will highlight innovation from unconventional gas plays around the world. It will be your chance to meet and learn from other professionals in the fastest-growing sector of the gas-producing industry.

The El Paso Museum of Art (EPMA) and the Museo de Arte Ciudad Juarez (INBA) announce Art Binational – 2008 – Binacional de Arte , the first binational juried exhibition which will be hosted by EPMA and INBA from June 8 though August 24, 2008 . Two artworks by each selected artist will be included in this exhibition. One artwork will be exhibited at EPMA and the other will be exhibited at INBA. This exhibition was curated by Christian Gerstheimer, EPMA Curator and Katherine Smith, EPMA Assistant Curator.
The exhibition will be juried by Ruth Fine and Luis-Martin Lozano.
On Wednesdays from June 18 – August 20, 2008 at 12:15 pm EPMA will be offering Artists on Art , a forum that will give some of the featured artists an opportunity to discuss their work in the Art Binational 2008 Exhibition. Spanish/English translation will be provided.

The 2008 fall series of piano concerts is sponsored by El Paso Community College and the El Paso Chopin Festival Society. Admission is free, but people are advised to arrive early because the concerts are almost always standing room only.
