Indiana Fire Chiefs Association-Annual Conference
Vendors are invited to participate at the Indiana Emergency Response Conference, hosted by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Indiana Fire Chiefs Association and Indiana Firefighters Association, September 17-20, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel Indianapolis East, 7202 E. 21st St, located just off Shadeland Avenue and I-70.
With the combination of THREE conferences, you company/organization will gain exposure to more than 800 attendees from all over Indiana, and even from nearby states. Our audience is primarily fire and other emergency services personnel; however, each year the conference attracts additional law enforcement and other healthcare professionals. We have special levels of sponsorship this year, which we hope you will find useful as a marketing tool. The conference is offering multiple levels of sponsorship opportunities. Vendors wishing to sponsor a particular event, or sponsor the conference at a particular level, will have their company name listed in the program and on signage at the event. This conference presents over a dozen awards for outstanding performance in several categories. Those sponsoring an award will have their company name included and announced with the sponsored award. If you would like to be a sponsor, a sponsorship form with price information is enclosed with this letter. Additionally, this year we will provide an electronic list of attendees to all vendors who sponsor at the Gold Badge, Silver Badge, Red Badge or Yellow Hydrant levels. The conference program includes: classroom lectures, general sessions with major speakers, practical skills sessions, and YOU in a large exhibit hall/demonstration area. New this year? Lunch with the Vendors! To encourage conference attendees to visit exhibitors, we will provide lunch in the outdoor exhibit space to all vendors and conference attendees. Workshops and sessions will not take place until later in the afternoon. The EMS track will begin at 2pm. No other tracks will be held until after 4pm.

Indianapolis Marriott North at Keystone at the Crossing
We’re having a party! Join us in celebrating the 15th birthday of Ball State’s Center for Gifted Studies & Talent Development! The event will take place at the 14th Annual Share-Indiana Conference on Parenting and Teaching Gifted Children, Saturday, September 13, from 9 AM to 3 PA at the Indianapolis Marriott North at Keystone at the Crossing. For this special event we are featuring two nationally recognized speakers: John Samara for teachers and Tracy Cross for parents (bios are below). Teachers and those wishing to learn more about the Curry/Samara model for writing and differentiating curriculum should sign up for the Teacher Session. Parents, counselors, and those wishing to know more about parenting issues and social/emotional issues of gifted children should register for the Parent Session. As our thanks to all of you who have supported the Center for the last 15 years, each participant will receive over $100 worth of materials. Our presenters have personally selected those items that will be most useful to those attending each session.
This year we are again holding the conference in Indianapolis in response to the overwhelming feedback we had on last year’s conference. Share-IN is co-sponsored by the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities and the Indiana Association for the Gifted. You may register using the form availble for download on this page (upper right). Seats are limited, so be among the first to register and assure your place at this conference.
