Among the post-secondary educational institutions in Anaheim are Bethesda Christian University, Bryman College, South Baylo University, a campus of ITT Technical Institute, Computer Education Institute ? Anaheim, South Coast College, CEI College- -Anaheim, Southern California Institute of Technology, and Pacific West College of Law. The following colleges and universities are located within about ten miles of Anaheim, in neighboring communities: Fullerton College in Fullerton, Chapman University in Orange, Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, Santiago Canyon College in Orange, University of Phoenix ? Southern California Campus in Fountain Valley, and Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley.
There are ten public high schools in Anaheim, including one alternative school. Most of these serve about two thousand students each. Esperanza High School on North Kellogg Drive is, by far, the largest, service more than three thousand students in grades 9-12. Anaheim has two private, single-sex high schools: Servite High School with an enrollment of about eight hundred boys and Cornelia Connelly School with an enrollment of just over two hundred girls. Heritage Christian Schools on West La Palma and Anaheim Baptist Temple School on West Ball Road offer grades 7-12, though Anaheim Baptist Temple School is a notably small institution, with a total enrollment in all six grades of fewer than thirty students. Orange County Christian School, Acaciawood School, Inc., City Harvest Christian Academy, and Faith Christian Academy of the CMA each offer the high school grades, as well as at least some of the primary and all of the middle school grades.
There are six public junior high schools each with thirteen hundred to two thousand students in the seventh and eighth grades. Some of the public elementary schools in Anaheim draw students from areas almost as large as the junior high schools do: at least four elementary schools ? Rio Vista, Edison, Sunkist, and Ross ? have more than twelve hundred students in grades Kindergarten through sixth.
In addition to these upscale restaurants, Anaheim has a little of just about everything. At Downtown Disney, alone, diners are generally well-pleased with the Naples Ristorante, the Rainforest Caf?, or Ralph Brennan?s Jazz Kitchen.
