Indianapolis has something to attract a wide range of interests. Families will enjoy the five-story Children’s Museum, the largest museum of its kind in the world, as well and the interactive and friendly Indianapolis Zoo, home to over 4000 animals as well as the newly opened Dolphin Experience. Here you can take a ride on an authentic turn-of-the-century wooden carousel or get a great view of the stars at the SpaceQuest planetarium.

Downtown Indianapolis is alive with growth and development. The city is centered around Monument Circle, home to the Indiana Soldier’s and Sailor’s Monument, a 1902 tribute to the Indiana servicemen who served in the Civil and Spanish-American Wars. This striking edifice, made of Indiana limestone, includes a museum at the base of the structure.

Every August, the Indiana State Fair, the oldest state fair in the nation, treats visitors to the best of Indiana, including livestock, food, midway attractions, live entertainment, and that friendly Hoosier charm.
